Her Calling, Our Legacy and the Daily Journal are two examples of long-form publications I developed from concept to print for CruPress. Working within the established Cru brand system, I translated dense theological and narrative content into clear, engaging layouts while maintaining strict adherence to brand standards.
My focus throughout both projects was on typography, hierarchy, grid systems, and pacing to improve readability and make complex material more accessible without diminishing the integrity of the content. Each publication required careful attention to how information is organized and experienced across extended reading formats, and are tailored to different audiences.
The work involved balancing creative problem-solving with brand stewardship, ensuring that the existing system was applied consistently while also being thoughtfully extended where needed to support clarity and usability across two distinct formats.
